PRESS RELEASE – 01/14/2015
On Tuesday, 01/13/2015 Khyree Turner was arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in September of 2014 in the City of Brunswick. Brunswick Police Detectives along with the Violent Crimes Task Force, and U.S. Marshall’s Service located Turner at his place of employment on Colonel’s Island at approximately 7:30 A.M. Brunswick Police Detectives had been searching for Turner since October of 2014.

The Discount Stop, located in the 2700 block of Norwich Street in Brunswick was robbed by two suspects at approximately 8:24 P.M. on September 16th 2014. One suspect, armed with a handgun, fired a shot at the clerk before both exited the store with money taken from the register. Michael Felder Jr, a twenty four old black male was arrested on October 20th , 2014 for possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, Aggravated Assault (2) counts, Armed Robbery, and two (2) counts of Gang Activity in connection with the crime.

Information led to Khyree Turner being developed as the second suspect, and a warrant for Armed Robbery was taken on October 30th, 2014 for him. Turner is a twenty four old black male of Brunswick.

The stolen money, nor the handgun involved in the robbery, have been recovered.
