On Monday, March 30, 2015 at approximately 1:00 P.M. emergency response personnel from The Brunswick Police Department, Brunswick Fire Department, Glynn County Police Department, Glynn County Fire Department, Department of Public Health and the Federal Bureau of Investigation all joined forces in response to a suspicious envelope. The envelope which contained a yellow powdery substance was located in the 3400 Block of Cypress Mill Road. Subsequently, the substance was sealed, packaged and transported to a laboratory facility for a thorough examination. The results of the laboratory assessment concluded that the powdered substance did not contain any harmful ingredients.

This is a collaborative investigation, and we are assertively seeking the assistance from anyone with information that will lead to a conviction concerning this incident. We are actively pursuing all information in a joint effort to identify, arrest, and convict those responsible for this crime to the fullest extent of the law.
